Pond

Oops! It's August and we missed July. Never mind - it's mid summer and the pond's pretty much reached it's peak.

The grasses have needed a little pruning back, but that's been about it for maintenance. The water is clear despite the merest dribble going through the filter - the foam prefilter on the pump has just about had it and now gets clogged very quickly. The "waterfall" has been completely lost in the grass at the back of the pond but you can still hear it tinkling in the background.

At night the frogs come out to play and can be seen (well, if you shine a torch on them) sitting around the edge of the pond going ribbet.
