Hamster

We have now moved the hamster cage to the kitchen. We did it so when Ruffles comes out she will see more of us, the only problem is she wants to come out all the time (except when she's asleep of course).

Ruffles' cage in the kitchen Hi Ruffles!

On Friday the 13th of April, I also built Ruffles a big run to play in. I built it out of wooden blocks, so in the end we had to knock it down. It had lots of obstacles in it made out of wood, and she did go on the ramp and through the plastic tube, but she gnawed most of the other bricks. She worked out that if she put her paws on top of the bricks she could pull herself up and escape, but luckily we were too fast for her. She also kept chewing at the carpet, and Jon kept on knocking the bricks over which didn't help! Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Friday the 13th supposed to be an unlucky day, well it was a lucky day for Ruffles then!

Ruffles in the run Are you going to go in there? Gnawing at the block
